Obituary for Marcella "Sallie" Epple

Marcella Louise Epple, age 76, of Washington passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. Marcella was born April 18, 1941 in Neier, MO. She is the daughter of the late Joseph Boehm and his wife Honorene nee` Schatz. Marcella received her education at the St. Joseph Neier Catholic School and graduated from Union High School in 1959. She was united in marriage to Dale Epple January 28, 1961 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Union, MO. The couple made their home in Washington. Marcella was employed at Triple D Cleaners in Washington, MO for 28 years at the time of her retirement. She was a member of the St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington. Marcella enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, spending time boating with family and travelling.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Willetta Mohesky.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Epple of Washington, MO; two daughters, Cynthia Reed and husband George of Union, MO and Michelle Parsons and husband Louis of Beaufort, MO;
six grandchildren, Heather Epple, Josh (Jessica) Reed, Andrew Reed, Shane (Kiana) Reed, Ryan and Cole Parsons; thirteen great-grandchildren, Shae, Taylor, Colton, Aliza, Cylee, Braylyn, Cameron, Jordan, Caybren, Jaevin, Elliana, Kaiser, and Oliver; one sister, Joan Miller of Chesterfield, MO;
one brother, Robert Boehm of O'Fallon, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Service was held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 6:30 pm at Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington, MO with Rev. Buehler officiating. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
