Obituary for Betty Lee Kampschroeder

Betty Lee Kampschroeder was born November 15, 1930 in Washington, Missouri; daughter of the late Fred A. Kampschroeder and wife, Lillian Henkhaus Kampschroeder. She passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in Washington at the age of 87 years.
Betty attended St. Francis Borgia Grade School and graduated from St. Francis Borgia High School. During high school, Betty worked at Shorty’s Sandwich Shoppe. Later, she did office work at Seco Manufacturing and Zero Manufacturing. She enjoyed life, enjoyed playing dominoes, and especially time spent with her extended family and friends. Betty was a member of St. Francis Borgia Parish. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Russell Kampschroeder and Audrey Wellenkamp.
Miss Kampschroeder is survived by niece, Karen Unnerstall and husband, Gary of Washington and nephew, Mark Wellenkamp and wife, Charlet of Washington; several great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews; special neighbor, Ruth Schrader of Washington; and many friends.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at The Arbors at Victorian Place for their outstanding care and concern for our dear aunt, Betty.
Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington with Rev. Joe Wormek officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. There Will be no visitation.Memorials requested to St. Francis Borgia Church or activities fund at The Arbors at Victorian Place. The family was served by the Oltmann Funeral Home in Washington.
